Creating Your Own Luck!
Feb 22, 2025
At the start of the year, we often feel a surge of enthusiasm for our goals.
But within a few weeks, that excitement can start to fade.
I've found what helps is being part of a supportive community.
In January, I joined a 31-day challenge to send a daily email.
Each day, there was a thread in the community where we could post our email links.
About 40 of us committed to the challenge, keeping each other accountable with encouragement and support.
As the days passed, I found my rhythm.
Writing daily emails became easier.
By the end of January, around 23 of us had stayed consistent.
Then came an exciting announcement, the top three prize-winners would be revealed on the next live call!
When the call started, I listened eagerly and then learned that the prizes would be drawn from names out of a hat.
Somehow, throughout the draw, in my mind, I kept hearing my name being called.
As the third-place winner was announced, I was really happy for them, as I had noticed their emails in the group.
Next, my good friend won second place! I was delighted for her.
And then…
Amazingly, my name was called for the first prize, worth $1,000!
Inside I was doing a happy dance.
I hadn’t won anything in a random draw for years, and I felt incredibly lucky.
But I don't believe it's just a chance occurrence.
I believe we can create our own luck.
Authors and artists talk about being in a dance with their muse.
They know that showing up daily increases the chances of inspiration striking.
It’s the same in business, the more you show up, the more you're available to the opportunities the universe has waiting for you.
So, how can you create your own luck?
Lesson 1: Consistency creates opportunity.
When you show up consistently, you position yourself for success.
Whether it’s writing, marketing, or creating offers, the more you engage, the more doors open.
What small daily action can you commit to?
Lesson 2: Community fuels momentum.
Surrounding yourself with like-minded people keeps you accountable and inspired.
When motivation dips, a strong community lifts you up.
Who’s in your support circle?
If you need encouragement, join our community, we’re here to support you.
You’ve got this! Luck is on your side when you make the commitment.
